After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure that all attaching
hardware is tightened securely - otherwise, injury or damage may occur.
Before performing any maintenance, adjustment or service, turn power Off and
remove key from ignition.
DO NOT overtighten hardware attaching to the frame. This could cause damage to
the frame.
When storing scooter for prolonged periods of time, remove batteries. Refer to
Removing/Installing the Batteries on page 35. After reinstallation, always recharge
batteries before use. Refer to Charging the Batteries on page 40.
Use care in storage. DO NOT allow any metallic objects to contact the exposed
terminals.
Suggested Maintenance Procedures
1. Beforeusingthepoweredscooter,makesureallnutsandboltsaretight.Checkany
partsfordamageorwearandreplace.Checkallpartsforproperadjustment.
2. Ensurethatbatteriesareproperlymaintainedandchargedasrequired.
3. Thewheelsandtiresshouldbecheckedperiodicallyforcracksandwear,andshould
bereplacedbyaqualifiedtechnician.
4. Regularlycheckforloosenutsand/orboltsinthefrontanddrivewheels.Ifloose,have
themadjustedbyaqualifiedtechnician.
5. Cleandirt,dustandgreasefromexposedcomponents.
6. Periodicallyhavethebearingsofthefrontwheelcheckedtomakesuretheyareclean
and
freefrommoisture.
