Connecting
1. Installbatteryterminalcap(s)ontobatterycable(s)asfollows:
A. REDbatteryterminalcapontoREDbatterycable.
B. GREYbatteryterminalcapontoBLACKbatterycable.
ƽ WARNING
When connecting the battery cables to the batteries, the battery cables MUST be
connected to the battery terminals/posts as shown in FIGURE 10.3, otherwise
damage to the battery cable may result when installing battery terminal caps.
2. Connectbatterycablestobatteryterminals:
A. NEGATIVE(‐)BLACKbatterycabletoNEGATIVE(‐)batteryterminal/post.
B. POSITIVE(+)REDbatterycabletoPOSITIVE(+)batteryterminal/post.
3. Securethebatterycablesringterminaltothebatteryterminals,BLACKtoNEGATIVE
(‐)andredtoPOSITIVE(+),withtheprovidedmountingboltandlocknut.Securely
tighten.
4. Verifyallbatterycablesringterminalarecorrectlyinstalledandsecurelytightened.
5. Slideterminalcapsdownbatterycablesandontobatteryclamps.
6. Positionthebatteriesonthescooter.RefertoRemoving/InstallingtheBatterieson
page 35.
NOTE:NewBattery(ies)MUSTbefullychargedbeforeusing,otherwisethelifeofthebattery(ies)
willbereduced.
7. Ifnecessary,chargethebattery(ies).RefertoChargingtheBatteriesonpage 40.
8. Installtherearshroud.RefertoRemoving/InstallingtheRearShroudonpage 44.
9. Installtheseat.RefertoRemoving/InstallingtheSeat
