Reply path: allows you to set your SMS centre
number as a reply path so that the recipient can
send a reply through it. The charge is billed to
you.
Delivery report: the network informs you
whether or not your message has been delivered.
Preferred bearer: allows you to select
preferred data transmission method.
Leave a copy: your phone leaves a copy of your
message in the Outbox menu after sending it.
Setting for Multimedia Message
You can change the settings for sending or
receiving MMS messages.
Send settings
• Priority: allows you to change the priority
level of your messages.
• Expiration: allows you to specify how long
your MMS centre stores your messages after
sending them.
• Delivery: allows you to set when the message
will be sent.
• Hide address: when this option is checked,
your address does not display on the
recipient’s phone.
• Delivery report: when this option is checked,
the network informs you whether or not your
message has been delivered.
• Read report: when this option is checked,
your recipient’s phone sends a reply to let you
know when your message was read by him or
her.
• Leave a copy: when this option is checked,
your phone leaves a copy of your message in
the Outbox menu after sending it.
• Add my namecard: (Only for the Medial
attach format) when this option is checked,
your contact information is attached to your
message. This option is not available when you
send a message using a preset format.
• Add signature: (Only for the Medial attach
format) this option is checked, your signature
text is attached to the end of your message.
You can enter text using up to 128 characters.
This option is not available when you send a
message using a preset format.

Receive settings
• Home network/Roaming network: allows
you to set how to receive a message in each
network.
A
uto: you can receive the multimedia message
automatically.
Manual
: you can receive the notification
message first.If you want to download it, you
can receive the multimedia message.
R
estirct: (Only for Roaming network): if you
select the notification, it aware of possible
additional charing to roaming, if you want to
download the message or not.
• Delivery report: when this option is checked,
the network informs the sender of the
message whether or not the message has been
delivered.
• Read report: when this option is checked,
your phone sends a reply to let the sender
know when the message was read.
• Anonymous reject: when this option is
checked, your phone rejects messages without
a caller ID.
Network settings
You can set up information about your MMS
network. In most cases, you don’t need to
change the settings. For further details, contact
your service provider.
Note
: If you change these settings without the
network operator’s instructions, you may not
be able to send or receive multimedia
messages.
You can have several network settings. You can
make, change or rename for each setting by
pressing the Options soft key. But only one
setting can be active as your network setting.
Press the OK key to edit following options:
• Access point: allows you can choose a
network account.
• MMS server URL: allows you can edit the
MMS server address.
• Protocol: allows you to select the protocol
between WAP and HTTP.
• Gateway address/Port: (Only for the WAP
protocol) allows you to set the gateway
address and port.
