V-Call: makes a video call to the person. For

Copy to phone: makes a copy of the contact to
phone.
Paste: pastes the number into the normal
dialling mode.
Add Contact
(Menu 3-2)
You can add your phonebook by saving phone
numbers and the corresponding names in the
memories of your SIM card and phone. You can
save up to 1000 names in the phone’s memory.
Each name can have up to five numbers and
other personal information.
When you add a new contact, the contact is
saved in the memory you’ve selected in the
Memory location option.
Adding a Contact in the Phone’s
Memory
When you access this menu you can see the
startup screen of the Add contact menu. You can
also this screen by pressing the New soft key in
the main menu mode.
1. Press the or key to scroll through the
input boxes and enter the corresponding
information you want to save:
• First Name/Last Name: enter the first and
the last name for the contact. For further
details about entering characters, see
page 31.
• Mobile()/Home()/Work()/
Fax()/Etc() phone: enter a number
you want to add. The icons at the left side
of each input box tell what type of number
it is.
• Email address: enter the person’s Email
address.
• Group: press the OK key to enter one or
more groups.
• Homepage address: enter the URL
address of the person’s home page.

• Memo: enter information you need to
remember about the person.
2. When you entered the information you want,
press the Options soft key and select the
Save option.
Adding a Contact in the SIM Card
1. Make sure that the Memory setting is set to
SIM.
2. Press the key to move to the NAME input
box and enter a name for the contact.
3. Press the key to move to the NUMBER
input box and enter a number.
4. Press the Save soft key to save the new
contact.
Adding a Contact in the Idle Mode
1. In the idle mode, enter the number to be
stored.
2. Press the Options soft key and press the OK
key when Save number highlights.
3. Press the or key to scroll through the
input boxes and enter the corresponding
information you want to save. The input
boxes are depends on the memory type you
select in the Memory setting and refer to the
previous pages to the next steps.
Another Options in Adding Contacts
List
When you press the Options soft key from the
Contacts list, the following options are available:
Save: saves the contact.
Special option: you can set a distinctive image
and sound for the contact. Press the or
key to move to each field.
•Image: allows you to select an image to be
displayed when a call or message comes in
from the contact. Press the OK key and then
the Options soft key. You can select a
category from icon, animation and photo, and
then choose a file from the My stuff.
•Ringtone: allows you to set a sound to be
played when a call comes in from the contact.
Press the OK key and select an audio file from
the My stuff.
