When you press the Options soft key in Step 4,
the following options are available:
Capture viewfind: switches the screen to
the capture view mode to allow you to take
another picture.
Send
• By Multimedia msg.: allows you to send a
multimedia message using the taken
picture. For further details about sending
multimedia messages, see page 68.
• By Email: allows you to send an Email
using the taken picture.
Set to wallpaper: allows you to set the
taken picture as wallpaper.
Rename: allows you to change the image
file’s name. For more information about
entering characters, see page 31.
Exit: allows you to exit the camera menu.
You can see the pictures in the Images folder in
the My stuff; see page 83.
Capture Mode Options
Press the Options soft key in capture mode:
Capture: captures a picture.
Record mode: turns to video recording mode. If
you want to get an attachable video file to your
message, select the For message option.
Otherwise select the 10 Sec.
Flip image: selects Up-down for flipping
horizontally, Left-right for flipping vertically.
Timer: sets the phone to take a picture at a
predefined time. Once you set the time, the

you press the OK key, the phone takes a picture
after a predefined time.
Multi shot: takes multi shots.
Open files: opens a file you want to open from
the Multimedia Images folder.
Effects mode: allows you to change the colour
tone of the picture. Sepia, Mono, Night and
Normal are available.
Brightness: displays the tool bar adjusting the
brightness of the picture.
Capture setting: sets default filename and
adjusts the capture quality choosing Low,
Normal, Fine, Super fine and Memory save. The
Memory save option let you get lower quality but
less memory usage.
Exit: returns to the idle mode.
Recording Video
You can use your phone just like a camcorder to
record what is currently displayed on the camera
screen and save it as a video file.
1. To turn on your camera, press the OK key.
You can see the picture to be recorded on the
display.
2. Press the Options soft key. Select Record by
pressing the or key and press the OK
key.
3. Your phone starts recording. Recording time
can be set for up to 30 seconds.
