2. Change the parameters requiring modification (see figure 80). When you have finished changing the con-
figuration, click on the Submit button to save the changes.
Refer to section “Applying a template” on page 164 to activate the template.
Deleting a template
Do the following to delete a template:
Note When a template configuration is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
1. Select a template from the Delete Configuration pop-up menu (see figure 79 on page 163).
2. Click the Delete Configuration button.
Applying a template
This section describes how to apply a global configuration to all Model 2701RC rack cards. Model 2701RC
cards which will not be configured to the selected Global Configuration are:
• Those installed in a Model 1001 rack that has the entire rack set to be protected(1)
• Those that are individually set to protected(1) mode
Instructions for protecting either an entire rack or individual 2701RC cards are given earlier in this chapter.
