USO DE SU CONCENTRADOR
PELIGRO—El oxígeno se quema ráp-
idamente. No fume cuando esté usando
su concentrador de oxígeno o cuando
esté cerca de una persona que esté bajo
terapia de oxígeno. Mantenga el concen-
trador de oxígeno a por lo menos 1,6m
(5 pies) de objetos calientes, con chis-
pas o de fuentes de llamas.
1. Encienda el interruptor de encendido
“On.” Cuando la unidad se enciende,
la luz de encendido se ilumina y el
sistema de alerta del paciente - la luz
de necesidad de servicio y la señal
auditiva -se encenderá brevemente.

OXÍGENO OSD SOLAMENTE
El OSD (siglas en inglés de “Aparato
Detector de Oxígeno”) es un aparato
dentro de su concentrador que moni-
torea el oxígeno producido en su
unidad. Cuando la unidad se enciende
“On,” las cuatro luces (encendido,
necesidad de servicio, bajo oxígeno y
oxígeno normal) en el panel frontal se
iluminarán brevemente. Después de
algunos segundos, solamente las luces
de encendido y de oxígeno normal
quedarán encendidas.
Las luces del OSD del panel frontal se
especifican como sigue:
• Luz verde de oxígeno normal –
nivel de oxígeno aceptable.
• Luz amarilla de bajo oxígeno –
por debajo del nivel de oxígeno
aceptable.
Si la pureza del oxígeno cae por debajo
del nivel de oxígeno aceptable, la luz
verde de oxígeno normal se apagará y
se encenderá la luz amarilla de bajo
oxígeno. Utilice su sistema de reserva
de oxígeno. Consulte la sección de
Detección y solución de problemas

guía y contacte a su proveedor de
Sunrise Medical.
Como una característica de seguridad
adicional, en caso de que la pureza del

OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR
DANGER—Oxygen causes rapid
burning. Do not smoke while your oxy-
gen concentrator is operating, or when
you are near a person utilizing oxygen
therapy. Keep the oxygen concentrator
at least 5 feet (1.6 m) from hot, spark-
ing objects or naked sources of flame.
1. Press the power switch to the “On”
position. When the unit is turned on,
the Power light will illuminate, and
the patient alert system – Service
Required light and audible
signal – will briefly alarm.
DEVILBISS OXYGEN CONCENTRATORS
WITH OSD ONLY
The OSD (Oxygen Sensing Device) is a
device within your concentrator that
monitors the oxygen produced by your
unit. When the unit is turned “On,” all
four lights (Power, Service Required, Low
Oxygen, and Normal Oxygen) on the
front panel will illuminate briefly. After
a few seconds, only the Power and
Normal Oxygen lights will remain lit.
The OSD lights on the front panel are
defined as follows:
• Green Normal Oxygen
light–acceptable oxygen level.
• Yellow Low Oxygen light– below
an acceptable oxygen level.
If the oxygen purity falls below the
acceptable level, the green Normal
Oxygen light will shut off and the yel-
low Low Oxygen light will illuminate.
Switch to your reserve oxygen system.
Refer to the Minor OSD
Troubleshooting section in this guide
on page 19 and contact your Sunrise
Medical provider.
As an added safety feature should the
oxygen purity continue to drop, an
intermittent audible signal will sound.
Contact your Sunrise Medical provider
immediately. Do not attempt any other
maintenance.
UTILISATION DE VOTRE

DANGER—L’oxygène peut brûler

1. Mettez l’interrupteur d’alimentation

déclenchera.
DEVILBISS CONCENTRATEURS
D’OXYGÈNE AVEC OSD
L’OSD (appareil détecteur d’oxygène)
est un mécanisme incorporé dans votre
concentrateur, qui surveille l’oxygène
produit par votre appareil. Lorsque
vous mettez votre appareil en marche
“On,” les quatre voyants (alimenta-
tion, entretien, bas niveau d’oxygène
et niveau normal d’oxygène) sur le
panneau avant s’allument brièvement.
Après quelques secondes, seuls les
voyants Power (alimentation) et
Normal Oxygen (niveau normal
d’oxygène) resteront allumés. Les voy-
ants l’OSD sur le panneau avant sont
définis comme suit:
• Le voyant vert Normal Oxygen
(Niveau normal d’oxygène)–
accepte le niveau d’oxygène.
• Le voyant jaune Low Oxygen (Bas
niveau d’oxygène)– Sous le
niveau d’oxygène acceptable.
Si la pureté s’oxygène descend sous le
niveau thérapeutique jugé acceptable,
le voyant vert Normal Oxygen s’étein-
dra et le vert jaune Low Oxygen s’al-
lumera. Utilisez votre système
d’oxygène de réserve. Référez-vous à la
section Dépannage mineur concentra-
teurs munis de l’OSD à la page 21 de
ce guide, et contactez votre four-
nisseur Sunrise Medical.
Au cas où le niveau de concentration
d’oxygène s’abaisserait davantage, un
signal sonore intermittent se
déclenchera. Veuillez communiquer
immédiatement avec votre fournisseur
Sunrise Medical. N’essayez pas de solu-
tionner le problème.

GEFAHR—Rauchen Sie niemals,
wenn Sie Ihren Sauerstoffkonzentrator
verwenden oder wenn Sie sich in der

Stellen Sie den Sauerstoffkonzentrator

1. Drücken Sie den Netzschalter auf “EIN”.
Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist,
leuchtet die “ein”-signal lampe auf,
und das Patientenalarmsystem - rote
Service-anfordern-Lampe und Signalton
- gibt einen kurzen Alarm ab.
NUR DEVILBISS- O2 KONZENTRA-
TOREN MIT OSD
Das sog. OSD-Gerät (Oxygen Sensing
Device - Sauerstoff-fühlendes Gerät)
ist ein Gerät in Ihrem Konzentrator,
das den von Ihrem Gerät produzierten
Sauerstoff überwacht. Wird das Gerät
eingeschaltet, leuchten alle vier
Lampen an der Vorderseite (Strom,
Service erforderlich, Sauerstoff niedrig,
Sauerstoff normal) kurz auf. Nach
wenigen Sekunden leuchten nur die
Stromlampe und die Sauerstoff-
Normal-Lampe auf. Die OSD-Lampen an
der Gerätevord-erseite werden wie
folgt definiert:
• Grüne Sauerstoff-Normal-Lampe –
akzeptables Sauerstoffniveau.
• Gelbe Sauerstoff-Niedrig-Lampe –
Sauerstoffwert unter einem
akzeptablen Sauerstoffniveau.
Fällt die Sauerstoffreinheit unterhalb
des akzeptablen Niveaus, wird die
grüne Sauerstoff-Normal-Lampe aus-
geschaltet, und die gelbe Sauerstoff-
Niedrig-Lampe leuchtet auf. Schalten
Sie auf Ihr Reservesauerstoffsystem
um. Angaben dazu finden Sie im
Abschnitt Fehlersuche bei kleineren
OSD® -Problemen auf Seite 22 in
dieser Anleitung. Kontaktieren Sie
bitte Ihr Sunrise Medical-Personal.
Als zusätzliche Sicherheitsfunktion
ertönt bei einem weiteren Abfall der
Sauerstoffreinheit ein unterbrochenes
Alarmsignal. Wenden Sie sich in
diesem Fall sofort an Ihren zuständi-
gen fachhändler. Unternehmen Sie
keine weiteren Abhilfeversuche.
FUNZIONAMENTO DEL CONCENTRA-
TORE DI OSSIGENO DEVILBISS
PERICOLO—L’ossigeno brucia rapi-
damente. Non fumare nelle vicinanze di
un Concentratore di ossigeno in fun-
zione o di una persona sottoposta alla
terapia di ossigeno. Non usare l’ap-
parecchio ad una distanza inferiore a
1,6 m (5piède) da una fonte di calore,
da oggetti che sprigionano scintille o
da una fiamma viva.
1. Premere l’interruttore di alimentazione
in posizione “ON” (acceso). Quando
l’unità è accesa, la spia di alimen-
tazione si accende e il sistema di
allarme per il paziente, spia di richies-
ta di assistenza e segnale acustico,
vengono attivati per un breve periodo.
CONCENTRATORI DI OSSIGENO
DEVILBISS CON OSD SOLTANTO
L’OSD (dispositivo di rilevazione del-
l’ossigeno) è un dispositivo situato
all’interno del Concentratore che con-
trolla l’ossigeno prodotto dall’unità.
Quando l’unità viene accesa, le quattro
spie (alimentazione, necessità di assis-
tenza, basso livello di ossigeno e nor-
male livello di ossigeno) sul pannello
anteriore si accendono per un momen-
to. Dopo alcuni secondi, restano
accese solo le spie di alimentazione e
di normale livello di ossigeno.
Le spie dell’OSD sono definite come
segue:
• Spia verde di livello normale di
ossigeno - livello di ossigeno
accettabile.
• Spia gialla di basso livello dell’os-
sigeno - al di sotto di un livello
accettabile di ossigeno.
Se il livello di purezza dell’ossigeno
cala al di sotto di un livello accetta-
bile, la spia verde si spegne e quella
gialla si accende. Passare al sistema di
riserva di ossigeno. Fare riferimento
alla Sezione relativa alla identifi-
cazione di problemi minori in questo
manuale a pag. 23 e rivolgersi al forni-
tore della Sunrise Medical.
Come misura di sicurezza aggiuntiva,
se il livello di purezza dell’ossigeno
continua a calare, viene attivato un
segnale acustico intermittente.
Rivolgersi immediatamente al fornitore
della Sunrise Medical e non tentare
altra riparazione.
