II Meter
allows you to customize
special functions to meet your
own special needs. For
example, you can:
Set the clock in your meter
so that your blood glucose
results will be stored in
memory along with the
correct date and time of
each test.
Turn the beeper on or off.
Select the language in
which the display messages
appearEnglish, Spanish,
French, Italian, Dutch,
Portuguese, Swedish,
German, and a symbolic
language are available.

Services for information
on other languages that may
be available in the future.)
Select the unit of measure
for blood glucose results
milligrams per deciliter
(mg/dL) or millimoles per
liter (mmol/L).
Select the date format
month-day-year or
day-month-year.
Select AM/PM or
24-hour time.
Select the type of data
management system that
the meter will communi-
cate with.
Setting the Clock
The meter has an internal
clock that will record the date
and time of each test you
perform. (The clock is set at
the factory in Pacific time.)
