1. Performoneofthefollowing:
•Non‐Suspension‐Loosen,butDO
NOTremovethehexscrewthat
secureseachofthetopclampstothe
wheelchairframe.
•Suspension‐Loosen,butDONOT
removethetwohexscrewsthat
secureeachofthetopclampstothe
wheelchairframe.
2. Positionthecamberclampsonthe
wheelchairframeatthedesired
position.
• LengtheningtheWheelbase‐Will
increasethestabilityandmaintain
standardmaneuverabilityofthe
wheelchair.
• ShorteningtheWheelbase‐Will
decreasethestability,increasethe
maneuverabilityanddistribute
additionalweightontotherear
wheels.
NOTE:Wheelchairperformancewillbe
affectedifthecamberclampsDONOTsitflush
onthewheelchairframe.
3. Performoneofthefollowing:

•Non‐Suspension‐Securelytightenthehexscrewthatsecuresoneofthetop
clampstothewheelchairframe.
•Suspension‐Securelytightenthetwohexscrewsthatsecure
oneofthetopclamps
tothewheelchairframe.
NOTE:Securelytighteningonehexscrewatatimeensuresthatthecamberclampswillsitflush
onthewheelchairframe.
4. RepeatSTEP3foroppositesideofthewheelchair.
NOTE:Thedistancebetweenthebackpostandthebackofthetop
clamponeachsideofthe
wheelchaircanbemeasured asanadditionalchecktomakesurethecamberclampssitflushonthe
wheelchairframe(themeasurementsshouldbethesame).
5. Rollthewheelchairbeforeusingtomakesurethereisnoexcessivedragtoeitherside.
