Replacing the Battery Box Retaining Strap
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 12.10.
ƽ WARNING
The battery box retaining strap MUST be fastened securely and adjusted properly
to hold battery boxes in place before using the wheelchair.
1. Removethebatteryboxesfromthewheelchair.RefertoInstalling/Removingthe
BatteryBoxesonpage 49.
2. Removethebatterytrayfromthewheelchair.RefertoInstalling/RemovingtheBattery
Trayonpage 50.
ƽ WARNING
The retaining strap MUST be fed through the adjustable end of the battery box
retaining strap buckle as shown in FIGURE 12.10.
NOTE:Observethepositionandorientationofthebatteryboxretainingstrapasitpassesthrough
theslotsofthebatterytrayandtheadjustableendofthebatteryboxretrainingstrapbuckle.
3. Feedtheexistingbatteryboxretainingstrapthroughtheadjustableendofthebattery
boxretainingstrapbuckle.
4. Feedtheexistingbatteryboxretainingstrapthroughtheslotsinthebatteryboxtray.
5. InstalltheNEWbatteryboxretainingstrapbyreversingSTEPS3and4asshownin
FIGURE 12.10.
6. Reinstallthebatterytrayfromthewheelchair.RefertoInstalling/Removingthe
