Error Messages
Your World Scale has a series of Error Messages which show up
on your screen as symbols. If your Console displays one of the
first three errors below, contact your local Hobart Service Office.
Possible System
Problems
If the scale does not function as described, or the steps below do
not resolve the problem, contact your local Hobart Service Office
for recalibration, service or repair.
Problem Possible Cause Action/Solution
When I press the
Display Test key, the
system does not
respond.
You may not have power to the system. Verify that the batteries are functioning
properly.
When I press
[ZERO(0)], the
system does not go
back to zero.
There may be weight on the Weighing
Platter.
You may have a Tare entered.
Make sure nothing is touching the
Weighing Platter.
No display at Power-
Up.
Connection to the power supply may be
loose or not functioning properly.
Check the batteries to be sure they are
installed properly and/or are functioning
properly.
Weight not displayed. Be sure nothing touches the Weighing
Platter.
Make sure the Weighing Platter is on the
scale properly.
Weighing
inconsistency.
Make sure the scale is level and that nothing
is touching the sides or bottom of the
Weighing Platter.
