You have performed the steps in "Precautionary Measures," found earlier in this
chapter.
You can replace or reinstall a part by performing the removal procedure in reverse
order, unless additional information is provided.

Most of the procedures in this appendix require the use of one or more of the follow-
ing tools:
Number 1 and number 2 Phillips-head screwdrivers
Wrist grounding strap, as explained in "Precautionary Measures," found earlier in
this chapter.

To upgrade the storage system with a redundant power supply, perform the following
steps.
NOTE: Some components of the Dell PowerVault 2xxS storage system are hot-
pluggable. If one power supply provides power to the storage system, you can
install or remove another power supply while the system is turned on.
1. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, turn the two captive screws counterclockwise
to release the power-supply blank from the right power-supply bay.
