2. Ensure that there is power at the electrical outlet and check the power cable con-
nection from the electrical outlet to the power supply. Is power getting to the
power supply?
Yes. Go to step 3.
No. Replace the power cable.
Is the problem resolved?
Yes. End troubleshooting.
No. Go to step 3.
3. Check the SCSI cable connection(s) from the enclosure module(s) to the host
computer.
NOTE: The power supply will not power on if the SCSI cable is not connected to
the enclosure module.
Are the proper cable connections made?
Yes. Go to step 4.
No. Connect or reseat the connections.
Is the problem resolved?
Yes. End troubleshooting.
No. Go to step 4.
4. Is the host computer turned on?
NOTE: For the PowerVault 2xxS to power on, the PowerVault 2xxS must be
attached to a host adapter and the host server must be powered on.
Yes. Go to step 5.
No. Turn on the host computer.
Is the problem resolved?
Yes. End troubleshooting.
No. Go to step 5.
5. Reseat the power supply in the power-supply bay.
Is the problem resolved?
Yes. End troubleshooting.
No. Replace the power supply.
