Airplane Mode
When set to On, Airplane Mode disables all radio functions of
your phone, as required in sensitive environments (such as on
board an aircraft). This prevents you from receiving or making
calls (except emergency calls), but you can still use other
features (such as the Camera-Camcorder and the Tools).
1. From the Settings menu, tap Phone Settings ➔ Airplane
Mode.The following options appear in the display:

On
— Disables the radio transmitter and receiver in your phone.
•
Off
— Enables the radio transmitter and receiver in your phone.
2. tap the desired option.
Language
The language option on your phone can change the language of
voice prompts, menus, and key-input.
1. From the Phone Settings menu, tap Language. The
following options appear in the display:

English
•
Español
2. Tap your language preference.
QWERTY Action
QWERTY Action lets you set a special shortcut for the QWERTY
keypad.
1. From the Phone Settings menu, tap QWERTY Action. The
following options appear in the display:
•Off
— No shortcut.
•Text Message
— Typing on QWERTY keypad opens the
New Text
Msg
screen.
•Contacts
— Typing on QWERTY keypad opens the
Contact List
screen.
•Memo Pad
— Typing on QWERTY keypad opens the
Add New
Memo
screen.
2. Tap the desired option.
Word Completion
Word Completion is a predictive text entry aid. When set to
On
,
this option monitors your text entries and pops-up a list of words
that include the characters you have already entered. To
complete the word you are entering, just select it in the pop-up
list.
1. From the Phone Settings menu, tap Word Completion.
The following options appear in the display:
•On
— Predictive text entry enabled.
•Off
— Predictive text entry disabled.
2. Tap the desired option.
