TheFail‐Safesystemisdesignedtoalerttheoperatorandprovidea
safeoutputincaseofanysystemfailure.Thesensorisdesignedto
shutdowntheprocessintheeventofa set‐uperror,systemerror,ora
failureinthesensorelectronics.
The Fail‐Safe circuit should
never be relied on
exclusively to protect critical processes. Other safety
devicesshouldalsobeusedtosupplementthisfunction!
When an error or failure does occur, the display indicates the
possiblefailurearea,andtheoutputcircuitsautomaticallyadjustto
theirpresetlevels,seethefollowingtables.
