IV. COMFORT ADJUSTMENTS
4. Reposition the drive wheel bracket to the desired
position (either A or B).
5. Reinstall the hardware that fastens the drive
wheel bracket to the frame.
6. Reinstall the drive wheel. Make sure that the
wheel axle is snapped securely into the axle
bracket or the hardware is reinstalled and
securely tightened, depending on how your
wheelchair is equipped.
NOTE: Make sure that both drive wheels are
adjusted to the same position.
To change the drive wheel height:
1. Remove the drive wheel. If your wheelchair is
equipped with a quick-release drive wheel, press
the quick-release button and pull the drive wheel
off. See figure 11. If your wheelchair is
equipped with a bolt-on drive wheel, remove the
hubcap, and then remove the nut and bolt. See
figure 12.
2. Pull the drive wheel off of the wheelchair.
3. Reposition the drive wheel up or down to the
desired position.
NOTE: The wheel height can be adjusted to 3
different positions. See figure 14 for more
information on seat-to-floor heights.
4. Reinstall the drive wheel. Make sure that the
wheel axle is snapped securely into the axle
bracket or the hardware is reinstalled and
securely tightened, depending on how your
wheelchair is equipped.
NOTE: Make sure that both drive wheels are
adjusted to the same position.
WARNING! Ensure the quick-release
axles are properly secured.
