5.4.2 Spring clamp terminal block
(1) Method for connecting a cable to the spring clamp terminal block
(a) Connecting a cable
1) For module power supply part/safety power supply part/safety input part/safety
output part terminal block
While pressing the open/close button with a flathead screwdriver, insert a
cable into the insertion hole.
For use of bar terminals, the cable can be inserted without pressing the
open/close button.

2) For extension communication part terminal block
Insert a flathead screwdriver into the open/close button, and insert a cable into
the hole while pressing the driver.
For use of bar terminals, the cable can be inserted without pressing the
open/close button.

POINT
Pay attention when using a flathead screwdriver to push the open/close button of
the spring clamp terminal block. Failure to do so can result in an injury.
