DISPLAY MESSAGES AND PROBLEM-SOLVING GUIDE
Following is a summary of all display messages. These messages help
to identify certain problems but do not appear in all cases when a
problem has occurred. Improper use may cause an inaccurate result
without producing an error message or a symbol. In the event of a
problem, refer to the information under ACTION. Assistance is
available from the OneTouch
®
Customer Care Line.

MESSAGE WHAT IT MEANS
Display check. Appears
whenever the meter is
turned on. To verify that
all segments are
present on the display,
press and hold the C
button. Compare the
meter display with
page 12.

This message
appears immediately
after the display
check if your meter
has not been coded.
2)
If this message
appears at any time
after the first time
meter was coded,
the code number
has been lost. The
test results stored in
the meter memory
may be out of order.
ACTION
If segments are
missing, contact the
OneTouch
®
Customer
Care Line for further
action. Missing
segments can lead to
misinterpretation of
test results.
