SystemTooHot/ColdRunningAlarmIftheinternalsensors
registertemperaturesoutsidefactorysetlevelsduring
operation,theunitwillalarmwitharapidaudiblebeep,the
redalarmindicatorlightwillilluminatecontinuously,theunit
willnotoperateandtheflowsetting1& 3blueindicator
lightswillilluminate.ThefanwillturnOn.Allowtheunitto
coolorwarmtotherecommendedoperatingtemperature
range(seeRecommendationsforOptimalPerformanceon
page 18).TurnOfftheunitandtryagain.Changetoan
alternatesourceofoxygenwhilewaiting.Ifthealarm
continues,contactyourequipmentprovider.
BatteryTooHot/ColdAlarmIftheinternalbatterysensor
registerstemperatureoutsideafactorydefinedtemperature
rangewhiletheunitisoperating,theunitwillalarmwitha
rapidaudiblebeep,theredalarmindicatorlightwill
illuminatecontinuously,theunitwillstoprunningandthe
flowsetting1&4blueindicatorlightswillilluminate.Turn
OfftheunitanddisconnectACorDCpoweradapters.Allow
totheunittocoolorwarm,totherecommendedoperating
temperaturerange(seeRecommendationsforOptimal
Performanceonpage 18)andtryagain.Changetoan
alternatesourceofoxygenwhilewaiting.Ifthealarm
continues,contactyourequipmentprovider.
StuckButtonAlarmDuringpowerupoftheunit,ifitdetects
thatabuttonisstuckorbeingpressedtooearly,theunitwill
alarmwitharapidaudiblebeep,theredalarmindicatorlight
willilluminatecontinuously,theunitwillnotoperateandthe
flowsetting1&5blueindicatorlightswillilluminate.Turn
Offtheunit.Individuallypressallthefrontpanelbuttons,
lookingforbuttonsthatseemstuckina“pressed”position.
TryturningOntheunitagainwithoutpressinganyother
buttonsduringthepowerup.Ifthealarmcontinues,change
toanalternatesourceofoxygenandcontactyourequipment
provider.
