Charging the Internal Battery

NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE6.3.

1. Tochargetheinternalbattery,dooneofthefollowing:

• ConnecttheACpoweradapter(ifchargingfromawall

outlet)totheinputpowerconnectorlocatedontheside

oftheunitandthenplugtheotherendofthepower

adapterintothepowersource.

• ConnecttheDCpoweradapter(ifchargingfroma

vehicle)totheinputpowerconnectorlocatedonthe

sideoftheunitandthenplugtheotherendofthe

poweradapterintothepowersource.

NOTE:Ifinternalbatteryiscompletelydischarged,itwillfully

chargeinapproximately3to4hours.Thebatterygaugewill

illuminateduringcharging.Itisrecommendedtorechargethe

internalbattery,evenifonlypartiallydepleted,asoftenaspossible.
