(orsupplementalbattery,ifapplicable)capacitydropsto
minimum,atripleaudiblebeepwillsoundandtheGREEN
25%batterygaugeindicatorwillblinkveryrapidly.Theunit
willthenshutdown.
NoBreathDetectAlarm‐WhentheXPO
2
isoperatingbut
doesnotsensebreathing,aconstantaudiblealarmsounds
andtheredalarmindicatorlightwillilluminatecontinuously.
Ifthisoccurs,checktheconnectionfromthecannulatothe
XPO
2
unitandensurethatyouarebreathingthroughyour
nose.Ifthealarmcontinues,changetoanalternatesourceof
oxygenandcontactyourequipmentprovider.
BreathRateOverCapacityAlarmIfyourbreathingrate
causesthecapacityoftheXPO
2
tobeexceeded,an
intermittentaudiblebeepsoundsandtheredalarmindicator
willilluminateintermittently.Whenthisoccurs,reduceyour
activityand/orchangetoanothersourceofoxygen.
Ifyourbreathingratecontinuestoincreasetheaudiblebeeps
andredindicatorblinkswillbecomemorerapid.
NOTE:Oxygenwillbesuppliedduringthisalarm.
SystemTooHot/ColdforStartAlarmIftheinternalsensors
registertemperaturesoutsidefactorysetlevelsuponstartup,
theunitwillalarmwitharapidaudiblebeep,theredalarm
indicatorlightwillilluminatecontinuously,theunitwillnot
operateandtheflowsetting1&2blueindicatorlightswill
illuminate.ThefanwillturnOn.Allowtheunittocoolor
warmtotherecommendedoperatingtemperaturerange(see
RecommendationsforOptimalPerformanceonpage 18).
TurnOfftheunitandtryagain.Changetoanalternatesource
ofoxygenwhilewaiting.Ifthealarmcontinues,contactyour
equipmentprovider.
