PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Software needs to be reset
Dead batteries.
Batteries installed
incorrectly (reversed).
Dirty battery holder
contacts.
Cylinder valve is closed.
Cylinder is empty.
Oxygen cannula is blocked
or kinked.
Non-alkaline batteries are
used.
Batteries are faulty.
Open the battery door and remove the
batteries. Wait 10 seconds. Replace the
batteries and close the battery door.
Replace or recharge batteries.
Make sure battery polarity is correct.
Remove the batteries. Use rubbing alcohol
and a cotton swab to clean contacts.
Turn cylinder valve clockwise to open.
Check the oxygen gauge. Replace the
cylinder, if empty.
Remove kinks. Clean or replace, if
necessary.
Make sure the batteries inside the unit are
alkaline.
Replace batteries. (See “Installing Alkaline
Batteries” section on page 12.)

Short battery
life.

policy. If necessary, call your Home Care Provider.
