Manual Operating Instructions
In event of power or equipment
failure, refer to the Manual Op-
erating Instructions to manually
operate the lift. Step-by-step pro-
cedures are provided on pages
34 and 35. Refer to the Lift Op-
erating Instructions for all normal
lift operation procedures (such as
loading and unloading passen-
gers). Follow all Lift Operation
Safety Precautions at all times!
Familiarize yourself with the com-
ponents necessary to manually
operate the lift. The T-handle
release cable releases and en-
gages the lift platform to allow the
platform to be manually extended
and retracted (details on Pages
32 and 33). The manual back-
up pump (hand pump) is used to
manually lower and raise the ex-
tended platform (see Page 33).
Note: The location of the power
pack and release cable varies from
vehicle to vehicle (depending on
your particular installation). Stan-
dard NUVL pump module shown in
Manual Operating Instructions.
