This function allows you to automatically align the
timing of all recorded notes.

Press the CATEGORY[ ]/[ ] button repeat-
edly until “Quantize” appears in the display.

Rotate the dial and select the value.
Settings: 1/4, 1/6, 1/8, 1/12, 1/16, 1/24, 1/32

Press the [EXECUTE] button.
The “UNDO” message appears.

Press the [EXECUTE] button again if you
want to replace with the previous Quantize
value.
Select a desired section for clearing, and then fol-
low the instructions below.

Press the CATEGORY[ ]/[ ] button repeat-
edly until “Part Clear” appears in the dis-
play.

Press and hold a desired [PART] button for
longer than a second.
A confirmation message appears.

Press the [+/YES] button to clear the
selected Part.

• If the recorded Part is not specified, Quantize cannot be set. Specify
the Part for recording and then use the quantize function.
• The undo icon on the display will disappear if you exit from the cur-
rent display.
