Settings
Many different features of your phone can be
customised to suit your preferences in the
Settings
menu.
Profiles
(Menu 9-1)
In
Profiles
, you can adjust and customise the
phone tones for different events or situations.
There are six preset profiles:
T-Mobile
,
Normal
,
Meeting
,
Car
,
Silent
, and
Outdoor
, which you
can customise to meet your needs.
Changing the Profiles
On the Profiles screen, select a profile by
pressing the Up or Down key and press the
Change
soft key.
You can also press the
Change
soft key from the
startup screen of the Profiles menu, then select a
profile and press the
OK
key.
Note
: You can quickly change to the Silent mode
by holding
the key
down when
in Idle
mode. To change back to the previous
profile mode, hold the key down again.
Customising the Profiles
1. To modify a profile, scroll to the profile on the
Profiles list by pressing the Up or Down key,
and then press the
OK
key. A list of profile
settings opens. The available setting options
vary depending on the selected profile.
2. Scroll to the setting you want to change by
pressing the Up or Down key, and then
change the setting using the Left or Right
key, or the
OK
key.
The following options are available:
•
Call alert type
: allows you to select the
alert type for the call ringer. You can choose
one from
Melody
,
Vibration
,
Mute (Light
only)
and
Vib & melody
.
•
Voice call/V-Call ringtone
: enables you
to select a melody or tone to be used when
you select
Melody
or
Vib & melody
in the
Call alert type
option. Press the
OK
key
and select a sound from the alert tone list.
