: When you write a text message and you
select the
GSM alphabet
option in
Character support
(see page 61), the
following GSM alphabet characters are
available:
Changing the Letter Case
To change the letter case of the next letters that
you type, press the key. There are three
cases:
• Initial Capital ( )
• Capital Lock ( )
•Lower Case ( )
Inserting a Space
To insert a space between words, press the
key.
Scrolling
To move the cursor to the left or right within the
text, press the Left or Right scroll key.
Clearing Letters and Words
To delete letters, press the
C
key when the cursor
is immediately to the right of the letter you want
to delete. Press and hold the
C
key down to clear
the display.
Note
: If there is no letter and you press the
C
key,
you can return to the previous screen.
Using Number Mode
You can enter numbers in Number mode. Press
the keys corresponding to the required digits.
