Band selection
For the phone to make and receive phone calls, it must be
registered with one of the available networks. Your phone
can handle combined GSM 900/1800 or PCS 1900
networks.
The country where your phone was purchased determines
the default band that it uses. When you travel abroad, you
must remember to change to an appropriate band.
1. On the Home screen, press the
Start
soft key.
2. Select
Settings
→
Phone
→
Band Selection
.
3. Select an appropriate band in the
Band Selection
field.
4. Press the
Done
soft key.
5. If the confirmation screen displays, press the
Yes
soft
key to confirm your selection.
6. Press the
OK
soft key.
Fixed Dialling
When this option is enabled, your phone restricts your
outgoing calls to a limited set of phone numbers. You can
only call those phone numbers that are included in the
Fixed dialling number list or which begin with the same
digit(s) as a phone number on the list.
