A lower setting increases the usable battery time. A higher
setting decreases the usable battery time and allocates it
for standby usage.
To adjust the power setting:
1. On the
Home
screen, press the
Start
soft key.
2. Select
Settings
→
More
→
Power Management
.
3. Select the power settings:
•
Main battery
: You can check the remaining amount
of battery power.
•
Backlight time out
: You can select the length of time
the backlight stays on. A backlight illuminates the
display and the keypad. When you press any key, the
backlight turns on and remains on for the backlight
time-out period.
•
Display time out
: You can select the length of time
the display remains on.
•
Display Brightness
: You can adjust the brightness
for the display.
4. When you have finished, press the
Done
soft key.
