Performing a hard reset
You can return the phone to its factory setting and remove
all of the programmes and data you have added.
To perform a hard reset:
1. Turn off the phone and remove the battery and install it
again.
2. While holding , press and hold .
3. Enter the initialisation password in the
Enter password
field. The reset password is preset to “1234” at the
factory.
Your phone resets the system after about 6 or 7
minutes.
Changing initialisation password
You can change the reset password to prevent the phone
from being initialised by unauthorised people.
1. On the Home screen, press the
Start
soft key.
2. Select
Settings
→
More
→
Security
→
Initialization
PW
.
3. Enter the old password, then a new one, and re-enter
the new password for confirmation.
4. Press the
Done
soft key.
