Voice volume
(Menu 7-1-7)
This menu enables you to adjust the voice volume
of the earpiece.
Press the Navigation keys to adjust the volume. You
can also use the Volume keys on the left side of the
phone. The graphic shows the volume level; the
more bars you see, the louder the volume.
Note
: During a call, you can adjust the volume using
the Volume keys on the left side of the phone.
Display
(Menu 7-2)
The Display feature enables you to:
• change a background image or an image to be
displayed when the phone turns on or off.
• set a banner message.
• set the length of time for the backlight.
• set the external clock type.
• turn the service light on or off.
• change the display language.
Image box
(Menu 7-2-1)
This menu allows you to change the background
image to be displayed in Standby mode or when the
phone is turned on or off. You can also erase
downloaded or captured images.
The following options are available:
Turning on
: You can select an image to display
when you turn on the phone.

Turning off
: You can select an image to display
when you turn off the phone.
Wallpaper
: You can select an image to display on
the idle screen.
To select an image:
1. Select an item you want and press the
Select
soft key.
2. Select the image category you want and press
the
Select
soft key.
You can select one of the default images, ones
downloaded from the web, or photos you took.
3. Scroll through the images using the Navigation
keys.
4. Press the
Select
soft key when you find the
image you want.
Banner
(Menu 7-2-2)
This menu allows you to set a banner message to
be displayed at the bottom of the display in Standby
mode.
To change the banner:
1. If necessary, press the
C
key to clear the old
message.
2. Enter a new banner message using the
alphanumeric keys.

3. When you finish entering the message, press
the
OK
soft key to save it.
