Adjusting the volume during a call
During a call, if you want to adjust the voice
volume, use the Volume keys on the left side of the
phone.
Press the key to increase the volume level and
the key to decrease the level. The image on the
display shows all five levels; the more bars you see,
the higher the level is.
In Standby mode, you can also adjust the key tone
volume using these keys.

Answering a call
When somebody calls you, the phone alerts you by
ringing and blinking the service light.
If the caller can be identified, the caller’s phone
number or name, if stored in your Phone book,
displays.
There are many ways to answer a call, depending
on your setting in the
Answer mode
menu (
Menu
7-4
);
To end the call, close the phone or press the
key.
Note
: You can answer a call while using Phone book
or menu features. The current operation stops.
Silencing an incoming call
You can silence the ringer when a call comes. Press
one of the Volume keys when the phone is closed. If
it is open, press the left soft key.
Setting option To answer the call,
By send key press the key.
By folder open open the phone. If it is
already open, press the
key.
By any key press any key except the soft
keys, the key or the
Volume key.
