(Menu 3-4)
Using this menu, you can set up various options for
receiving or sending messages.
Scroll Timer
(Menu 3-4-1)
If an incoming message is too long for the display,
the phone scrolls the screen automatically. You can
set the time interval in which the phone scrolls to
the next screen,

through
5
seconds.
When this option is set to
Off
, you need to manually
scroll to the next screen using the Up or Down key.
Msg. Reminder
(Menu 3-4-2)
When a message is received, your phone alerts you
by sounding the specified ringer. You can set how
often this will happen.
Off
: The phone alert only once when you receive an
incoming message.
Once
: The phone alerts you when you receive an
incoming message and then alert you again after 2
minutes.
Every 2 min
: The phone alerts you every 2
minutes when you receive an incoming message.

Alert on call
(Menu 3-4-3)
This menu allows you to choose whether or not the
phone informs you when you receive a new
message during a call.
Off
: the phone doesn’t actively alert you to
incoming messages. It only displays the
corresponding notification.
On
: the phone alerts you with a beep and displays
the corresponding notification.
SMS Message
(Menu 3-4-4)
You can set up the following options as default
settings when creating a new message.
Delivery Ack
: allows you to activate or deactivate
the delivery acknowledgement feature. When this
feature is activated, the network informs you when
your message is delivered to the recipient. Select
On
to turn the feature on, or
Off
to turn it off.
MMS Message
(Menu 3-4-5)
You can change the default settings for sending and
receiving MMS messages.
Priority
: allows you to select a message priority.
Expiry
: allows you to set the lengh of time your
messages are stored in the MMS server while
attemps to deliver them.
Delivery Time
: allows you to select time delay
before the MMS server sends messages.
Sender Visibility
: allows you to set whether your
phone number will be seen on recipients’ phones.
