Tools > Firmware
You can upgrade the firmware of the Kyocera KR1 Mobile Router from this menu.
Ensure the firmware you want to use is on the local hard drive of your computer.
Click on
Browse to browse and locate the firmware to be used for your update.
Please check the Kyocera support site at
http://www.kyocera-wireless.com for firmware updates and
related information.
Caution: Due to packet loss, please do not use a WiFi connection for firmware upgrades.
Firmware Upgrade- Click on the link in this screen to find out if there is an updated firmware version. If so,
download the new firmware to your hard drive.
Browse- After you have downloaded the new firmware, click Browse in this window to locate the
firmware update on your hard drive. Click
Apply to complete the firmware upgrade.
Note: The firmware upgrade process will take three to five minutes.
