XII. WARRANTY
LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY
For the lifetime of your Jazzy 1100, from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to
the original purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized
representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship:
n Structural frame components
TWO-YEAR WARRANTY
For two (2) years from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original
purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representa-
tive of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship:
n Electronics
EIGHTEEN-MONTH WARRANTY
For eighteen (18) months from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original
purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representa-
tive of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship:
n Motor/gearbox assembly
WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS
n Motor: If damage occurs to the commutator of a motor as a result of not replacing the motor brushes
after heavy wear to brushes. Motor brushes are wear items and are not warranted.
n Brake: One-year warranty for electrical function of the brake. Brake pads are a wear item and are not
warranted.
SIX-MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY
For six (6) months from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original
purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representa-
tive of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship:
n Plastic components, except body
n Rubber components (except tires and tubes)
n Bearings and bushings
n Casters and anti-tip wheels
Battery warranty is covered by the battery manufacturer. Battery warranty is not covered by Pride.
Warranty service can be performed by an authorized provider or by Pride. Do not return faulty parts to
Pride without prior consent. All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts
for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the original purchaser.
