Troubleshooting (continued)
Symptom Possible cause
Systolic or diastolic blood pressure value
is high or low.
The position of the cu is higher or lower than your
heart when measuring.
Cu is not wrapped correctly.
You moved or talked during measurements. (See page

Value is dierent from that measured by
the doctor.
Blood pressure varies in response to minute changes
in your mental state, such as your reaction to a doctor’s
presence.
Sit quietly for 4 to 5 minutes and then take another
measurement. (See page 22.)
Measurement values are dierent with
each measurement.
No display appears even when the OFF/
ON & START button is pressed.
Batteries are installed with the polarities wrong.(See
