6 Operating the Powered Scooter
6.1 Control Panel
Battery Charge Display
The battery charge display is located at the top center of the control panel. When the scooter is turned on, the LEDs on the battery charge display
light to indicate the amount of battery charge. The amount of battery charge is indicated by the number of LEDs that are lit. If the charge is full, all
LEDs are lit. As the battery charge decreases, the LEDs turn Off. When only RED and YELLOW LEDs are lit, the batteries are draining and should
be charged soon. When only RED LEDs are lit, the scooter is running on reserve battery power. Charge the batteries immediately. The scooter has
an overcharge protection feature. When the scooter is running on reserve power, the scooter may turn Off automatically. If the scooter is not driven
for a while, the batteries will recuperate and allow a short amount of driving time. After this, the RED LEDs will blink and the scooter will beep 3
times. If the LEDs do not light when the scooter is turned on, the batteries should be charged.
Status Display
The status display LED is located on the top of the control panel. The status display indicates if the scooter is On or Off and also flashes to indicate
error codes. Refer to Service Indicator Error Codes on page 57.
For this procedure, refer to FIGURE6.1 on page 26.
ƽ
CAUTION
Keep batteries charged to avoid battery damage. Driving the scooter on reserve battery power leads to battery damage
and should be avoided if possible.
