SETTING UP EMAIL
Using the Administration > Setup > Email page, you can view
and modify email (Internet-Fax Server) settings. These settings
are required for the scan to iFax features:
n POP3 Settings
n SMTP Settings
n Message Handling
n iFax Print Error
Configuring POP3 Server Settings
1 Log in as an administrator.
2Click the
Administration tab.
3Click the
Setup subtab.
4Click the
Email link.
The Email page opens.
5 Enter the
Server IP Address.
6 Select a
Polling Rate to control how frequently TopAccess
polls the controller for new mail.
7 Enter an email
User Name.
8 Enter a
Password.
9 Enter a
POP3 Port Number
10 Click Save.
Note: Once the controller establishes connection with the
email server, it will receive any sent email and the email will
be deleted at the email server.
Configuring SMTP Server Settings
1 Log in as an administrator.
2Click the
Administration tab.
3Click the
Setup subtab.
4Click the
Email link.
The Email page opens.
5 Enter the SMTP
Server IP Address.
