66 Section 2C. Your Device’s Security
To enable data services:
1. Press Start > More (left softkey) > Accessories
>
Vision
> Menu (right softkey).
2. Select Enable Vision and press .
3. Read the disclaimer and press Yes (left softkey) to
enable the service.
(A message indicating the
progress of the activation is displayed. The Status
field then displays “Vision Enabled.”)
To update your Vision information:
1. Press Start > More (left softkey) > Accessories
>
Vision
> Menu (right softkey) > Update Profile.
2. Read the confirmation screen and press Yes (left
softkey) to enable the service and begin the
update process using your remote vision
information.
Note
If you are unable to make an outgoing due to a current
data call in session (indicated by an “
Unable to Vision
while a data call is in progress” message), use the
Wireless Manager to turn the phone off and on again,
and then press
Done (left softkey). This refreshes the
phone and enables Vision services.
Without Vision enabled, you will be unable to wirelessly
sync your device to a remote email server (page 136).
