Special Shooting Functions
This section explains the various shooting functions. Depending on which
recording mode you choose, the functions which can be used will vary. Refer to
the following table.
Text Shooting (Text Mode)
This mode is suitable to records text. The appropriate processing for recording text is
adopted, and the text is recorded in dual value (black and white), to ensure clarity.
(In this mode, the text can be recorded in less than 1/3 of the normal data volume.)
q Set the mode dial to [ ].
w Press the shutter release button to
shoot the image.
The shot image appears on the LCD monitor
before it is recorded.
Note
To cancel recording, press the
button while the shot image is
displayed on the LCD monitor. See

Sound can be incorporated in the
recording. See “Still Picture/Text
Shooting with Sound” (p.52).
