Selecting an Image Quality Mode
The camera offers nine image quality modes. Select the mode best suited to
your photographic needs.

/ : 2048 × 1536 (F), 2048 × 1536 (N), 2048 × 1536 (E)

/ : 1024 × 768 (F), 1024 × 768 (N), 1024 × 768 (E)

/ : 640 × 480 (F), 640 × 480 (N), 640 × 480 (E)
• The recordable picture count varies as you switch the image quality mode.
• The factory default setting is .
q Press the button and select an
image quality mode.
The image quality mode changes each time
you press the button.
The selected image quality mode will be
displayed.
If the keep settings function is enabled, the
mode in effect when the camera is turned off
will be saved.

Note
• Image sizes are 2048 × 1536 pixels, 1024 × 768 pixels and 640 × 480
pixels. With this product and in this manual, the number of pixels is
shown as

• For the number of recordable images by image quality mode, see
