r Press the or button to change the
value of the digit that is flashing.
Repeat steps e and r above to set the desired
interval in steps of 30 seconds.
t Press the ENTER button again after
setting the digit of second.
The interval timer (time lapse) function is now
enabled and the record menu is displayed.
y Press the MENU button.
The record menu will close and exit to the
normal display, and the INTERVAL message
will appear on the LCD monitor.
u Press the shutter release button.
The camera will take the first shot and then
proceed to shoot at the preset time. The
INTERVAL message flashes on the LCD
monitor while interval (time lapse) shooting is in
progress. Interval (time lapse) shooting will last
until the internal memory or SmartMedia memory
card runs out of available memory.
Note
The actual time between shots may become longer than the preset value
depending on the PIC (Image quality) and flash mode settings.
Use of an AC adapter to power the camera is recommended for interval
(time lapse) shooting.
Increasing the Values
Press the ( ) button. Keep pressing
the button increases the values quickly.
Decreasing the Values
Press the ( ) button. Keep pressing
the button decreases the values quickly.
