6.1.1.1 Cleaning the Printhead
If your printout shows problems such as white banding, color banding,
dot missing, or improper ink ejection (bad alignment), the printhead
needs to be cleaned. The cleaning methods equipped with the Stylus
Color 900 are as shown in Figure 6-1.

CAUTION
If printing results get worse all the more you repeat
cleaning, it is assumed that the ink cartridge has run
out the ink and the ink consumption counter is upset
due to a user’s mishandling the ink cartridge. In this
case, enter the ink cartridge replacement sequence
and replace the installed ink cartridge with a new one.
