BATTERY QUICK-CONNECTOR
WARNING! Keep tools and other metal objects away from battery terminals. Contact with tools
can cause electrical shock.
To replace the batteries:
1. Turn off the power to the controller.
2. Make sure that the power chair is in drive mode. See III. “Your Power Chair.”
3. Unplug the controller harness from the power base.
4. Remove the seat.
5. Lift off the shroud.
6. Unplug the battery quick-connector from the power base. See figure 22.
7. Remove the old batteries.
8. Disconnect the wiring harnesses from the batteries. See figures 23 and 24.
9. Connect the wiring harness to the new batteries.
