INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new apparatus, please read this user guide carefully
before using it for the first time. Take particular note of the safety precautions.
We also recommend that you keep the instructions for future reference.
IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
For domestic use only.
Use for its intended purpose only.
Do not use if not functioning properly, or if damaged by a heavy impact or
similar.
The armband must not be stretched, twisted or bent.
Do not use on babies or others who cannot communicate if the armband is
too tight, etc.
Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
Do not use in the vicinity of mobile phones or microwave ovens as these emit
electro-magnetic radiation that can affect the apparatus.
Do not expose to direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, noise or
corrosive substances.
Never try to repair the apparatus yourself. If defective, return to dealer.
Unauthorised repairs or modifications to the apparatus will invalidate the
guarantee. Please contact the store where you bought the apparatus for
repairs under guarantee.
This apparatus must not be used to make medical diagnoses. It is suitable
only for reference. Consult a doctor if your blood pressure readings seem
abnormal.
Always follow the procedure specified in these user instructions when taking
readings.
Batteries
Remove the batteries if the apparatus is not to be used for a prolonged
period.
Change the batteries immediately once they are dead.
Never use different types of batteries, or use a new and an old battery at the
same time.
Ensure the batteries are correctly polarised when installing them.

The date is displayed in the American date display format.
The order is MM-DD-YYYY. For example, 10.12.2006 is to be interpreted
as October 12, 2006.
