SECTION 4—OPERATION
ƽ WARNING
After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure that all
attaching hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.
CAUTION
Ensure that there is adequate room to operate the Invacare Mobile Recliner. There
must be at least three feet clearance between the top of the recliner back and the
surrounding objects, otherwise damage to the recliner and or surrounding property
may occur.

NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE 4.1.
NOTE:Thechaircannotreclineifthereclinelockbarisengaged.Anassistantmustfirstswing
reclinelockbaruptothechairbackandlockintoposition.
1. Whileseatedintherecliner,gripthearmrestsandsimultaneouslyleanbodyweight
backandpushforwardwithyourarmsuntilareclinepositionreached.
NOTE:Thefootrestwillliftautomaticallywhenthechairbackreclines.
NOTE:Theoccupantshouldnotberequiredtoexertexcessiveforcetochangereclinepositions.If
thereclinerexhibitsdifficultyinreclining,anattendantshouldbecalledforassistance.
