To remove a SCSI hard-disk drive and carrier from a drive bay, perform the following
steps:
1. Grasp the tab on the far right end of the bar.
2. Turn the key to the left to unlock the keylock.
3. Pull the lock bar out to release it from the system (see Figure 6-3).
Drive predicted failure The drive online indicator turns on. The drive fault indi-
cator blinks on briefly each second.
Drive failed The drive online indicator turns off. The drive fault indi-
cator blinks off briefly each second.
Drive rebuilding The drive online indicator blinks rapidly.
Drive online The drive online indicator is on.
Identify storage system All drive status indicators flash simultaneously on all of
the installed drives.
