This chapter explains how to use Personal Information
Management (PIM) programs to keep track of contacts and
appointments, and make a list of tasks you need to do.
Contacts
Contacts maintains a list of your friends and colleagues so
that you can easily find the information you are looking for,
whether you are at home or on the road.
To open Contacts:
Tap
Contacts
from the Today screen. You can also tap the
Start
menu
Address Book
Contacts
.
Creating a contact
You can create a new contact in Contacts and on the SIM
card.
Creating a contact in your phone’s memory
1. On the contact list, tap
New
Outlook Contact
.
2. Enter a name and other contact information. You will
need to scroll down to see all available fields.
3. To assign a specific caller ID image to the contact, tap
the
Picture
field and select a picture.
4. To assign the contact to a category, scroll to and tap the
Categories
field and then select a category from the list
and tap . You can also add a new category by tapping
New
.
You can display contacts on the list by category.
