Formatage d’une carte mémoire
✤ La fonction FORMATAGE <FORMAT> vous permet
d’effacer l’intégralité des photos et des films enregistrés
ainsi que les options paramétrées sur la carte mémoire,
y compris les photos et les films protégés.
✤ La fonction Formatage <Format> ramène la carte
mémoire à son état initial.
✤ Le Memory Stick fourni avec ce caméscope est déjà
formaté.
1. Allumez votre appareil en mettant le sélecteur de mise
sous tension sur le mode (APPAREIL PHOTO
<CAMERA>).
2. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU <MENU>.

Le menu principal dans lequel apparaît l’option
(PARAMETRAGE <SET>) s’affiche.
3. Appuyez sur la gauche ou sur la droite du bouton
multidirectionnel pour sélectionner (PARAMETRAGE
<SET>) puis appuyez sur le bas du bouton.

Le menu secondaire où apparaît «FORMATAGE»
<FORMAT> s’affiche.
4. Sélectionnez «FORMATAGE» <FORMAT> en appuyant
sur le bas ou le haut du bouton puis appuyez sur la droite.

La liste des options disponibles s’affiche: OUI
<YES> et NON <NO>.
5. Sélectionnez une option en appuyant sur le bas ou sur
le haut du bouton multidirectionnel puis appuyez sur le
bouton OK <OK>.
6. Si vous sélectionnez «YES» <OUI>, le message «FORMAT:
OK» <FORMATAGE:OK> apparaît sur l'écran LCD.

Si vous sélectionnez OUI <YES>, le message
«ATTENDEZ SVP» <PLEASE WAIT> apparaît sur
l’écran LCD puis est remplacé par «FORMATAGE
ACCOMPLI» <FORMAT DONE> une fois que le
formatage est terminé.
Remarques
✤ En utilisant la fonction FORMATAGE <FORMAT>, vous
supprimez toutes les photos et tous les films
définitivement. Il est ensuite impossible de les récupérer.
✤ Une carte mémoire formatée dans un autre appareil
posera des problèmes de lecture.
✤ En formatant la carte mémoire, vous effacez la totalité des
informations enregistrées sur celle-ci.
✤ N’éteignez pas l’appareil pendant le formatage.

The Camera: Preparation
✤ You can use the FORMAT function to completely
delete all still images/motion clips and options on
the Memory Card, including protected still
images/motion clips.
✤ The format function restores the Memory Card to its
initial state.
✤ The Memory Stick supplied with this camcorder has
been formatted already.
1. Turn your camera on by setting the Power Switch to
(CAMERA) mode.
2. Press the MENU button.
■ The top menu including (SET) is displayed.
3. Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to select
(SET), then press the DOWN button.
■ The submenu including "FORMAT" is displayed.
4. Press the DOWN or UP button to select
"FORMAT", then press the RIGHT button.
■ The available options are listed: YES and NO.
5. Highlight your option by pressing the DOWN or UP
button, then press the OK button.
6. If "YES" is selected, message "FORMAT:OK"
appears on the LCD monitor.
■ If “OK” is selected, message “PLEASE WAIT”
appears on the LCD monitor and then "FORMAT
DONE" appears when the format is completed.
✤ If you execute the FORMAT function, all still
images/motion clips will be erased completely and
erased still images/motion clips cannot be
recovered.
✤ Formatting the memory card using a different device
will cause memory card read errors.
✤ Formatting the memory card deletes all the stored
data in the memory card.
✤ Do not turn the power off in the middle of the formatting.
