Protecting Images/sound from Deletion (Protect)
You can protect images/sound from being accidentally erased.

Enter the Playback mode and choose the image/sound
you want to protect with the four-way controller (
̇̈).

Press the button.
The Protect screen will be dis-
played.

Select [Protect] with the four-way
controller (
̆).

Press the OK button.
•
Select [Unprotect] in step
c
to release the Protect setting.
• If the image is protected, the symbol is displayed when
the image/sound is played back.
Protecting All Images
You can protect all the images.
z
Enter the Playback mode.
x
Press the button twice.
The Protect all screen will be displayed.

Select [Protect] with the four-way controller (̆).
v
Press the OK button.
Select [Unprotect] in step
c
to cancel the Protect setting on all
the images.
Even protected images/sound will be erased by formatting
the SD Memory Card/MultiMediaCard.
Erasing All Images
You can erase all the images and sound at once.
• Once erased, images cannot be restored.
• Protected images/sound cannot be erased.

Enter the Playback mode and
press the button twice.
The Delete All screen will be
displayed.

Select [Delete All] with the four-
way controller (
̆).

Press the OK button.
