Starting the conveyor
Check:
S The ’lamp’ switch is in the OFF position (out).
S The ’high power’ switch is in the ON position (pressed in).
Press the ’conveyor start’
switch and hold in until the ’No Airflow’
indicator goes out. The main cooling fan and the conveyor should start to
work.
CAUTION: Confirm visually that the conveyor belt is running.
Set the conveyor speed using the 10 turn dial on the control panel. Once
set the position can be locked using the small lever on the edge of the dial.
W ARNING: Caution when operating the conveyor belt continuously at very
low speed with the lamp on High Power. Where possible, adjust speed to a
minimum of 2 on the dial. This will prevent the possibility of the belt
overheating. It is recommended that the operator is present at all times
during operation.
Press the ’lamp on’
switch and the UV lamp will ignite. The power
% indicator meter will show a high power reading (approximately 150%).
When the lamp has ’burnt--in’ the power % meter will show approximately
100%. This will take approximately 90 secs.
When the lamp has ’burnt--in’ it can be switched to the lower power setting
by releasing the ’high power’
switch. The power meter should be
registering a reduced reading (approximately 65%).
